Matt Lance

Matt Lance has built a multidisciplinary career spanning energy, investment management, automotive technology, and security and investigations. He has founded and led companies in oil and gas, minerals and mining, as well as co-founding an investment firm focused on precious metals equities, where he managed portfolio strategy, research, and operations. His experience also includes senior leadership roles within a high-growth automotive technology company, where he contributed to rapid valuation expansion, capital management, analytics, mergers and acquisitions, and fraud prevention systems. Matt has worked with Sierra Delta Security and Investigations since 2020, supporting protective operations, investigative work, and coordination with law enforcement agencies, bringing a risk-focused perspective across all areas of his career.

Matt earned his Master of Business Administration in Houston from the University of St. Thomas. He is also a graduate of the Reid Technique of Investigative Interviewing and Advanced Interrogation Technique course along with graduations from multiple federal citizens academies (FBI, DEA, ATF, and USSS). Matt is currently serving as Transportation Sector Chief for the FBI InfraGard Houston chapter after serving in the North Texas InfraGard chapter since 2022.
